Can someone convince me that TRUE LOVE exists?

Keep in mind that ABSOLUTELY NO RELATIONSHIP IS EVER GUARANTEED TO LAST. And if you believe that the happiness you have is solely dependent upon yourself being in a relationship forever, then your happiness will go away as soon as that relationship is over and ends, since it simply is just that, it may NOT last forever.

"Love" requires much patience, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, passion, trust, commitment and blah blah.

Loyalty is very important, unless you know the both of you are absolutely loyal to each other no matter what the circumstances or situations are, and are truly willing to sacrifice yourselves for one another, and I seriously mean WILLING TO DIE FOR EACH OTHER, then there was no "love" at all in the first place.

There, does that answer your question?

It rarely happens because I doubt people have that much loyalty with each other or that much trust with each other, at least, it's not on a consistent regular basis.

It is a state of the mind body heart and soul that can shatter your being or build you up... it is a force of nature that can elevate as well as devistate... it's something you long for your whole life and when you finnaly have it you realize there's not a feeling on earth that great

Love can exist through many forms and be expressed in many ways... as for the existence of such a force... yes yes yes yes love does exist

Just find you someone willing to sacrafice whatever they need to by your side for it

If you don't believe in it, then you probably can't be convinced otherwise. You'll be more open to "evidence" that supports what you already believe and not as open to "evidence" that suggests otherwise. I can only tell you that my experience is that it does exist, but I can't convince you. If you want to experience it, you'll be more likely to do so if you keep an open mind to it. As long as you reject the idea, you might not even acknowledge the possibility when it does come your way.

Its interesting how only those who are convinced that true love doesn't exist are sharing opinions, so let me share mine.
It does exist. If you find a partner that equally cares and shows equal love as you give, and is reasonable and understanding, that loves you from its heart... wouldn't that be called true love?

It can only exist along side a higher state of consciousness and the true self. Since most people are operating through a lower state of consciousness and the false self, they think it does not exist.

This is because when they think they are in love, it is through the ego, and egoic love is not real love, but it feels real because the false self is confused for being the true self.

True love is the product of sacrifice that in your mind is worth sacrificing for. True love is not the product of sex, sex in a relationship simply amplifies your love so you can feel and sacrifice more for that person. This is how good people because better, when they put someone else first.
