I just feel like there's so much to do when ur young, like i dunno maybe act like a kid still 🤷? U won't be able to do that when u get older and figure out that ur tired of being in relationships and just want to do other shit for once, there's a time for everything, and I feel like most of us young people dont get the importance of relationships like we wld if we were older, I cld be wrong. It just seems to me that most of them are just in a relationship to post about it on social media, again I cld be wrong🙄

I completely agree with you. I seriously don't think kids should be dating other kids lol like just enjoy your childhood. Have fun with your friends, play games, play sports, be active. I don't know why kids want to rush and act like adults. I remember when I was 12-13, I thought boys were gross xD and I still played with barbies and played sports lol cause I wanted to keep enjoying my childhood while other 13 years old thought it was cute to have a boyfriend. Ya well it isn't. In a few years they'll know how tough it is to be an actual adult and how they wish they were kids once again lol
I was 13 when I had a boyfriend for the first time. It was great. He was my first proper kiss, we timed ourselves kissing one time and lasted for 22 minutes lol the relationship lasted a month. I brought him home to meet my mum one Saturday but he wasn’t allowed in my room 😂 it was all very innocent as you’d expect at that age. Then I was in another relationship with someone else at 14 and 15 and then I met a girl and we were together for more than a year. I’ve had more relationships as a kid than I have as an adult haha
Nope. I didn’t even hold a guys hand at that age. Even hugging a guy was scandalous. At 13 you’re still very much a child and relationships shouldn’t be a part of the equation of the life of a 13 year old in my opinion. They have plenty of time to live out the life of adulthood, but not forever as a child, they should enjoy the innocence while they can.
I started dating at 13 and wasn't ready. He was older and he convinced me that if in a relationship it is a requirement to have sex so thought I had to do it or I would lose him. I really was too young for all of that
I have seen many happy couples which have been together since age 13 and are now over the age of 40. I remember when I was at that age, everyone got pressured into kissing, finding a girl to like, etc (I didn't.) and therefore didn't wait till they found someone they liked, but someone that was available.
Anyone at any age deserves love. And age is not really a factor when it comes to loving someone. Whether they're older or younger, as long as you abide the law and make sure that the relationship is healthy for both ends, you'll be happy.
I remember when i was 9-10 I really wanted to be in a relationship 😂 I don’t think it was peer pressure or anything like that i just wanted to have a girlfriend so we can go behind a bush and do a lot of smooching lol but instead i got my heart broken 💔😢😢😢
Well I wish i wasn't lol because getting beat up by 5 guys was not fun and when I defend myself and kick their butt I would get in trouble with the teachers! It was a no win situation for me lol
I think its completely the opposite, that is the time children should learn what a relationship is and how to maintain it.. by failing miserably most likely. The best and strongest relationships are usually built on many previous experiences which children are perfectly well suited for experiencing. Its important to prepare them for the future.
With other kids, sure. And they're not usually really doing the things that adults do in relationships, so as long as they're communicating with their parents so that they don't end up in an abusive situation, it's harmless.
They are emotionally immature, but if the person they're dating is too, which they usually are at that age, it's just a fun experience. Puppy love.
Kids will always experiment and in that age hormones begin to play a role and you begin finding interest in the opposite sex. I was very interested in girls way before 13. Now I don't find it cute but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If I was a parent I would just give advice and hope they will actually listen.
I think your very mature for your age and u have things in perspective and baisically hit everything u said right in the head. Keep that mindset and ull have a good life. Just dont stay a kid for too long. Death and taxes are certain in 2 more years lol

It cannot be helped. Young people under the age of 18 feel invincible and are willing to try anything. Plus, i think naturally we do this to explore our own and other peoples bodies. Not saying i approve at all , im just saying it can't be helped.
Personal Experience : When i was younger i had friends who had many girlfriends , and i only had one disaster of a relationship ( i wouldn't even call it that) and whole lot of rejections from other girls. It only made me respect myself more and help me make better decisions when picking someone. That being said , I did have a phase in my early 20's , when if it moved and had a vagina i wanted it and got it. But that was later in life, not 13 . I think we all go through our own sexual journeys.
It won't last, they usually ignore their friends when in a relationship then break up a couple months later and rumors get spread around school of what they did together. And if they were together long enough for their BF/GF to hang out with their friends, when they break up it splits the friend group. It usually has negative consequences dating that young. They'd be better off having fun with their friends and waiting to date until they are close to finishing high school at least.
Everyone had some one when I was in school... Under 16... I didn't till I was 17. I think these relationships are a bit pointless really in the grand scheme of things... Up to them what they do I guess 🙅🤷
Absolutely not she gets one warning to drop the guy if I find them dating in the future again or others she's being sent off to military school until she graduates until she's old enough to do what she wants under her own roof
my son or daughter can have a boyfriend or girlfriend. they won't be going on dates or anything at that age. but if they want to call someone their bf/gf that's fine
I don't , but every now and then I'd be wrong. If the kids make mistakes, let them do it and learn. If it turns out well and they have kids in some 10 years, that's great, too.
They're just playing. We've since found out that 'dating' at that age is more like laughing and holding hands. Let them play being grown up. It's part of growing up.
Yeah i think its normal for people that age to want to experience and experiment with the opposite sex kind of really drawn to each other at that age they should be kept a close eye on tho
13 is a bit young for a boyfriend or girlfriend. A person needs to know who they are and what they want and really desire before getting into a relationship.
