Who has the capability of being more cold hearted? - Men or Women?

Question

Cold-hearted means unfeeling or unsympathetic, sometimes even cruel. Someone who disregards your feelings or acts maliciously towards you could be called cold-hearted. The heart is associated with feelings of tenderness, compassion, and love. Coldness is associated with harshness.

Have you ever experienced a cold-hearted person in your life?

(This very question is giving me the shivers... lol)

Men and women can be equally cold-hearted. Sometimes it comes from a wound, like when someone is assaulted or abused. The victim becomes cold hearted just to protect themselves.
Other times people are cold-hearted in a way that is self-inflicted. They're arrogant, or overly ambitious. Or they just don't give a damn about anyone else.
Then there's the worst type. These are your sociopaths and psychopaths. They understand someone else's heart, really well. They are able to predict and create exactly the feelings that they want in the other person heart. But the problem is that they have no empathy. If it's in their best interest to have the other person love them, they will do that but if they want the other person to feel pain, then they have the ability to inflict the greatest harm and injury.

Of course as a guy I would say women.
For women they might say men.
I have definitely been screwed over thoroughly by a woman before and I can definitely vouch for the fact that they can be cold-hearted.
There's also about a million songs on the radio everyday about women who lost that loving feeling or women that are Cold as Ice and on and on.

Hmm. I think it depends. Both can be cold hearted in different ways. I think men can be more cruel and cold physically while women can be like that mentally. Obviously there are individuals who are the grey area of that distinction but generally I think that's the basic reality. Throughout history predominantly men have been the ones who have committed pillaged, massacred raped, tortured etc. Women on the other hand, though not usually noted in history books, manipulate emotionally and mentally.

Both men and women can be equally cold hearted. If you think one gender is cold hearted then you don’t understand how the world is !. no gender is perfect. Yes I have known cold hearted people . No , I have been mean but not cold hearted.

My ex was , very negative about things always started drama with people , she became very selfish and only cared about herself , she did have a sweet side that i was attracted to but that came very rarely lol But i stood by her side until i found out she cheated on me Now she is nothing to me.

Some people get cold hearted from their experience, some people are just plain cruel from the start. It knows no sex and it spreads like a disease. One cold heart will turn a good one right into ice given the right circumstances.

It also comes in degrees. I'm bitter, paranoid, and keep my emotions locked down as much as I can. I also wouldn't go out of my way to hurt someone, I know the pain and I don't want to share it around.

Women are way more cold-hearted than men.
Narcissism is inherent in females because they are biologically encoded to look out for numero uno. Which means they do what they need to do in order to make things good for them.
Women constantly shit test and mentally play games to test their partner.
They are fake to one another and cut each other down behind their back.

I would say men because physical, agonizing torture is the most cold-hearted thing you can do and then have tortured more people than women by far.

If that is only because men are more capable of forcing torture on someone or not is unknown to me.
