Yes I see. It can be as well. Misconception it might only look like for external people. For others a certain sexual activity could be "misconception" ..
There's a beautiful caring and trusting bond between the Dom and the little. It alows one person to show dominance and care and the other to enjoy the innocence and vulnerability of being controlled

Trust and care are important in every relationship. Being dominant and providing safety to accept vulnerability is also common.
