My boyfriend often cuddles me from behind while he is sleeping, wrapping his arms around my waist or breasts. I love it as it makes me feel loved and protected. I´m interested in the phenomenon from a psychological point of view. Why do people do this, are they really half awake and semi-conscious of what they're doing, or is it really something totally subconscious? Is it a good indicator of romantic feelings or even love towards the person being cuddled?
