Fair trade off?

If a girl steals an article of clothing from a guy’s wardrobe, is it reasonable for him to take something of hers?
It’s common knowledge that many girls like to steal and wear something from a guy’s wardrobe, (shirts seem to be a particular favourite) and the reasons behind this is that she’s feels a connection with him, and wants something to remember him by (smells like him, has his sweat, pheromones etc.).
The reverse also proves true with things like panty raids, when a guy wants something something to remember the girl by, and her underwear is a favourite, because it’s intimate, and likely has her womanly scent. ;).
So in a hypothetical scenario: if a girl were to steal a guy’s shirt, would it be within his rights to steal a pair of her panties?
