Is this fair from management?

A lady from my team and I went for coffee with 4 people from another team.

We're allowed 30 mins but the guy working at the Cafe was by himself so he was about 10 mins late.

So we had 40mins total.

Later that day me and the lady in my team were copied into an email by my boss, the office manager and human resources manager scolding us how we were late coming back.

The lady asked the other 4 people and they never got one.

Do you think this fair?

I'm so sick of this company and the way I'm being treated.

The lady in my team and I are looking for another job.

Our coffee friends were shocked and said it was ridiculous behaviour.

Should I ask why the others didn't get that email?

Listen all you can do is document it by responding to the email professionally and save all copies. They may say that they did reprimand the others verbally or whatever. It doesn't change anything except maybe a case after termination for wrongful termination.
