Why do humans feel compelled to find love only within their own species?

Question

There are plenty of animals who are nearly, as, or more intelligent than humans, such as dolphins and apes. Even artificial intelligence would make a better companion than most humans. Why should we be limited to finding our soul mate only among other humans? If anything, humans have been socialised and brainwashed to be much worse lovers than other species who live more simply. We have all these stupid gender roles and political schisms and soul-destroying social structures designed to make us miserable and trapped.

Sometimes I just feel like the world is so backward and I wish I was born a thousand years from now when everyone is more progressive and open-minded. I don’t fit into this world at all.

You're thinking more along the lines of... ' a soul is a soul' no matter what form it may take in whatever lifetime it is living. Have you ever seen that sad dog movie, 'Fluke' The Father/Husband came back reincarnated as a puppy, and finds his way back into his family's arms. A puppy is just what the mother and son need after loosing the man of the house they so dearly love and miss. And the kid recognizes the puppys soul as his father that just passed away. He passed away, his soul passed on and spent it's next lifetime in the form of an adorable puppy that the family loves just the same. Especially the son, knowing it's his dad and all. 😊❤️

No other creature has self awareness, language, can learn languages, mathematics, can contemplate the meaning of life, the origins of the Universe... etc.

Well, animals may well be as intelligent and as sensitive as humans,

however, they don't have a developed sense of self as far as we can tell, nor the capacity for creative endeavour, hence why people deem humanity to be the 'crown of creation'. Even if you're right, it seldom seems that way, for humans would rather dwell in the gutter.

Humans do generally bond with animals that are easy to domesticate. Because no matter how intelligent a species is, if you can't domesticate them you cannot hope to find any love from them. And usually intelligent species cannot be domesticated.

I mean for one thing, animals can’t consent. So humans and animals are a no-no. Humans and AI on the other hand could be a potential in the future once the technology develop enough, and given the AI is advance enough to be able to be self aware and consent, I don’t see why anyone should oppose that.

Sex, when men and women first invented it, was for procreation. Then someone thought it would be fun to try other species. That shot the procreation idea in the foot. There are videos online with sex with dogs, horses and I imagine a plethora of other species. For me, the use of another species vagina just isn't that compelling.
