Intense eye contact, can both people feel it?

Like when you lock eyes more than once with someone for about 2 seconds each time, and every time you do, its intense, like you have a deep connection, so much so that one of you has to look away. Can both people feel it, or is it totally one sided?

Maybe... But if it has been going for weeks Then it's probably more... He could be waiting for you to do it back and give him the green light... Same thing happened with me before.. The person has done it for weeks and with no reaction from me it has turned into mad and disappointed looks and staring... Also it became kinda awkward and she avoided me... If it's consistent i think it's more than ego boost.. That's too much attention
