My husband recently went into business with a woman partner (not to be mean but the lady is not competition for me physically) but as it's new they spend a lot of time together and I am starting to feel jealous. He talks about her a lot and it makes me feel uneasy.
He says "one of the guys" but I feel she would like more. I trust him, it's women I don't trust. Am I being stupid?

Totally normal a little bit if jealously is. A sign of love. I wouldn't be worried as long ashe keeps it professional and both work in public place where people can see them. And honestly he should stop talking about her unless it's about the business.

Unfortunately one of my good friends found herself in a nasty predicament. She and her husband started an interior design business, and he hired on a third female partner when the business took off. Cut to two years later, and he cheats with the business partner. Not only that, before she even found out about the cheating, they agreed to have her temporarily move in to their house because hers was "being renovated," and she thought nothing of it because the woman was "such a good friend and business partner to both." My friend didn't even know the mistress was living with them until she came home early one day. I mention this only to say you're not crazy to have fears or jealousy because s---t like this does happen. My friend and her divorce are living proof of that, but that's her story and her ex. If you are with a decent man doing decent things, then of course, there should be trust there but you know, the occasional surprise lunch, may help calm your nerves about him and her.

Women jealousy. Its quite normal tho. As long as both side trusting each other and not making the jealousy out of control then it will be ok. I still remember that me and my girlfriend having big fight just because I were driving my female manager for outstation meeting. She is too old and not what I call as a desirable women by average men but still she still jealous of her. She also sit at the back of the car just to avoid misunderstanding for both side. Take almost a week to calm her down after that.

It’s natural. I feel the same with my partner. It would help if you participated more in his business. Take the opportunity to associate with her too. My partner normally tells me about a girl associate before hand so that I don’t get jealous and I don’t🤣.
But gurl it’s never bad to be a little cautious. My advice is be a little aware of their relationship but don’t go crazy about it.

Wow reading your updates it looks like you got smacked about pretty hard with the judgement stick so I am going to try and actually help you!

I think it is natural to feel like this when it comes to your life partner gaining another partner in a huge part of their life. I know he isn't at a risk of cheating but you feel she is getting more of him than you are and helping with an element of his life you cannot fully understand. This woman is no threat to you and will have a lot of clout in your life moving forward as she will assist with growing your finances etc and for that I think you have a good reason to get to know her and become friends.
You have to get past this and it will take time but also explain to your husband that primally you are feeling a little territorial and you want to get past this by getting to know her and knowing that side of his life a bit more.

I've been in two professions that often require long hours. The simple fact is that proximity creates opportunity. Closeness from a project creates chemistry because of all that is in common. Opportunity chemistry = mistake... even if she's less attractive. You're right to be jealous. You're right to be concerned. There's no such thing as a "faithful spirit" that was stated by another reply.

In my opinion you have three options. First, say nothing and spy on him (because you know you will) maybe catching him before something irreversible happens. Second, be open and honest in a positive manner & tell him that you're going to be having the conversation more than once so you can remind him what is waiting at home for him. Third, confront her and reach some adversarial understanding that you'll destroy her life if you find out she did something with him.

Silly, No. It happens from time to time and these partnerships and projects usually start off strong and nurture it, and then quickly die out.. wait until their first 70hrweek, my first partnership only worked because she was one of the guys and I was comfortable to train someone to replace me immediately and move on. Be supportive and look at the long term. If there is any infatuation trust me the money and stress that will come will nip it immediately.

The important thing you talk to your husband about this.
Communication is important, let him know how you feel, I'm sure he can find some way to give you some reassurance.
