Can someone hack your phone by simply sending you AUDIO on WhatsApp?

My ex suddenly messaged me by using a fake number which was of a foreign country.
I don't know how he got that.

He is a liar, narcissist, toxic and a clingy parasite who just wanted to keep me because he has no better option or any life goals.

He used to disrespect me by breaking my trust and used to force me to spare extra time for him apart from my work.

I broke up and gave ZERO RESPONSE since last September.
( I already gave him too many chances and warnings. Then I told him NEVER to contact me and I dislike him.)

He still keeps on popping up from fake accounts or this unknown number whenever he feels like to.

He also stops in between for few days or weeks.

Does that mean I should keep on giving him ZERO response?

As someone who studies cyber security i don't think there is such a thing , he can hack u by sending a link or a file

I have only 2 choices.
One is zero contact and another one is to get him arrested and tell him that he's a trash trying to force himself on me because he got no life.
Honestly I wanna see him dead. How selfish he's. Just because he got no better options doesn't mean that he will harrass me like this.
