I've been with my boyfriend 5 years and we have an amazing relationship
Apart from it lacks intimacy he has adhd and can be standoffish about affectionate unless he's in mood for it... I understand this
But sometimes it's hard and I dunno if he really is into me we bearly have sex and he seems fine with it yet he's talked before about how much sex he's had with exs
Lately the only time he gives me affection is when he's drunk
I dry and initiate things but hell turn me down and it hurts

I just want that closeness and I dunno how he dosnt or if he just can't Express it

Anyone else been in similar situation or been like my boyfriend

My ex boyfriend was like this. He masturbated to plenty of anime but rarely wanted sex with a real woman. (me). It really damaged my self esteem and confidence. Started questioning if I was even attractive anymore. In my opinion, sex is very important in a relationship, especially long term. So if it's important to you like it's important to most people, it's break up-able offense. My advice is to voice your concern. If he doesn't listen or care or love you enough to give you regular sex, then mayhaps the relationship has lost its fire. That's one of the many reasons my ex is my ex.
