Boyfriend’s family caught us having sex?

Long story short, my boyfriend’s family had gone to the store for a while so we decided to get in the shower together. We were being a little bit loud and his family got home very soon so his sister who’s 15 years old heard us, his dad knocked on the door and told us to get out. (His mom was out of town but she was informed of everything)
We were both very embarrassed and he went home with me but now his mom is upset with both of us and wants to have a serious talk with us (we are both 18)
I feel very guilty because his family had always treated me so nicely and I felt very close to them but I have now disrespected their household and I’m scared of how things will go.
Any advice or how I can apologize?

His parents are of course gonna be upset... stuff going down in their own house, violating their trust, blah blah blah. But chances are they did the same (or at least similar) stuff at that age. So if you handle it respectfully, they should more or less understand and let it go.

So how do you handle it respectfully... that's the tough part. Just be open & honest - tell them you made a poor decision in the heat of the moment and that you're embarrassed and very sorry it happened. What else can you do? And what more could they expect from you?

You both just have to bite the bullet and talk to his parents. Honestly, I would be upset if my daughter and her boyfriend had sex in my house but I can't stop her from seeing him. I would just ask that they don't do it in my house. This is probably what they want from the both of you.

You need to just face the music and talk to his Mom. You might be surprised at what she has to say. She may end up telling you that she wishes you would wait but if you are going to have sex just be smart about it. The fact is it's done and you can't turn back time. Deal with the situation and go from there.

That's a tough one. I don't think you did anything wrong. But your timing should have been better. I think you're just going to have to have a tough talk with your boyfriend and his parents. It would be better just to get it out in the open and be honest. You should explain to his parents that you love him and enjoy being affectionate.
