Why does my crush have mixed feelings about me?

so I'm 14 in the 9th grade and i have a crush. She also likes me but has mixed feelings. so she used to be in a relationship with this boy who is more like a playful boy but in a bad way {he is a bad boy} . They ended their relationship because he told her that he wanted to work on himself. I guess that he was working on himself a little too much and ended up in another relationship. Which is very disappointing. I always hear that nice guys finish last and I'm a nice guy. What can I do to make her not have mixed feelings?

Honestly that stuff will happen, and tbh there really isn’t much that you can do to change that. Her feelings are her own and you can’t really change them by doing anything specific. Especially since she just got out of relationship you don’t want to be a rebound. Just be there for her as a friend for now, because that will mean more than anything to her. And if you can accept just being her friend rn than you should move on. Your only in 9th grade you have a whole life ahead of you, but I understand the thought of the girl you like being the one.

Give her some space. As the other user said, that's something typical of girls on your age.
Focus on your studies. You'll have plenty of time for dating later in your life
