My lover has mentioned marriage a few times recently. Once in bed we were talking about the future and him wanting to buy property. Within this convo he asked where I would be.. if I would be his wife or a sexy neighbour... before we were together he also stated he’d marry me (I said how I couldn’t imagine someone wanting to marry me/put up with me etc) and recently he has said aloud how name would sound taken with his... along with questions he asks about my future does it seem like he is thinking of a future with me and possibly marriage? We have been best friends for over 10 years and only romantically involved for a few months

Sounds like he maybe is trying to feel you out. Dropping hints. If it has only been a few months, I would say that is probably too soon.

I would want to live with someone for a bit and try that on before marrying. Consider it a trial run.

I’m unsure if I want to bring it up with him just yet. It’s just the repetition of marriage and the little comments he makes that has me thinking maybe it’s something he is thinking of for the future
