This is a tough question. Both yes and no. I’m willing to compromise, but everything has its limits. I want to be happy in a relationship. Of course, I’m well aware that it would not always be rainbows and unicorns, but if im always the one compromising then i won’t truly be happy in it. I want someone who would support me and have long term goals which would match mine. I want kids, and I want someone who wants kids as well. I’m not willing to compromise for big life altering decisions, and willing to let go of my idea of fun.
I’m willing to compromise for small things and support my partner in whatever decision, assuming it’s a good decision

That doesn't make sense. Successful relationships should result in a fair amount of happiness. (A realistic amount. Life is not about always being happy. We need to temper expectations.)
I sacrificed a lot to be with one man. Upended my entire life. So you better believe I compromise.
It couldn't be a successful relationship if you weren't happy.
Of course compromises with a partner are necessary, but it you are unhappy about them, there's something wrong.
No one should want their partner to be unhappy. And if you want to do something that makes your partner unhappy, one of you is being unreasonable.

A successful relationship would help me to feel happy so why would I think of it as a compromise?

I'm extremely fortunate indeed in being able to obtain both.
No, because it isn't a successful relationship if I have to do that...
No, I’d rather just be single instead of being in a bad relationship.
Not anymore. I've done that on/off for the past 3 years
i do not think I really could be happy without a successful relationship.
you have a weird definition of "successful" relationship if you're not happy with it xD
Nope, a relationship and happiness should be synonymous. Why would you waste time in a relationship that doesn’t make you happy?
If you are losing happiness the relationship isn't successful
If you can't be happy it isn't a successful relationship
Nope. I and my health comes first.
