But the problem with this kind of person in long term is that he is not only nice to you, but can be nice to other people too. He is so nice that might put other people's interest before his immediate family with you.
He will care about what other people say more. He will be available for anyone who calls him.
With the bad guy in marriage there are several advantages. First and most important, I can say what I really think without being called insensitive. That is really important in long term as anyone wants to be understood.
When I think of bad guy I think egoistic. But when you're married that's a good thing. If someone is "bad" better to have them on your "team" than not.
