It depends but I lean towards rather not. I have ADHD and therefore I'm spontaneous, chaotic and have no good system or order so I think some people with autism might not like that if they are more rigid.
Also my ex was probably autistic and I got traumatized by our dynamic so I tend to avoid guys with autistic traits.
I'm also very extraverted and would like a partner that likes to be very social as well. Not that you can't as an autistic person, but it might be less something you enjoy.
So technically it's not an issue, but I just tend to not be attracted to people with autism and they think I'm too chaotic, talkative and all over the place.
Ah yeah I'm also very sensitive so I'm also often bothered by things other people are not bothered by and they can be specific. Difference is we don't get a meltdown just because of the stimuli, more of frustration of not being able to concentrate when there's too much stimuli.
What was annoying with my ex was that he couldn't understand that I thought differently than him and he couldn't often recognize, let alone express, his emotions. So he was often upset, started to act cold, I picked that up and asked what was wrong and he said nothing. Even after pressuring he couldn't figure it out. Sometimes a day later he found out it was because I stepped on his toe or something. This type of behaviour is extremely bad for me, because I have a strong rejection wound that would get activated from this.
So I don't know if he's capable of recognizing and expressing feelings, I should be fine with an autistic person.
Oh Einstein was too? I didn't know about that one. Interesting.
I heard he really liked the ladies, had a lot of women over his lifetime.
I couldn't be with any autistic person, but some others might be able to. It would be best to find other Aspies.
Watch Netflix's 'Love on the Spectrum' It's about autistics dating. Dating can be taught.
No never. It's okay with me personally, i don't know how others think. Besides, why should i reject a man as autistic when we are all candidates for disability? As someone who likes to spend time with special people, i also look forward to marriage with a special person. But at the moment, of course, this remains superficial. If i loved him very much and i was sure that he loved me and would be faithful to me, i wouldn't care if he had autism and i would marry him against all odds.
Same as you, I'm talking about my opinion. I can't make myself busy with complicated relationship. There is no reason for it. For something I prefer simplicity, and this is one of them. But I don't know why girls prefer complicated? I know it's not general, but how can I discriminate?
I’ve trained a number of working dogs for adults on the spectrum. It is a spectrum disorder. There are no two autistics alike. It’s also very common. What is it, last I heard, 1-66 people are somewhere on the spectrum? It depends on the individual and what they are comfortable with.
No, it is certainly not a concern. I would never judge someone for something they had no say in. If you like the person, that shouldn't matter one bit. Just my view on it.
Autistic guys are more empathetic to girls emotions.
No it's not as long as that person is not being taken advantage of.
Nope but i been looking for a learning disabities men and yet nothing to seem. one that i do seem to get. they do nothing or not plan to meetup and other just wan to friendzone that i made a mistake.
I think it's definitely doable but certainly not easy. I'm sure has its cons & pros
No, I am autistic too.
