For background, this guy and I used to be interested with eachother in our late teens but it's now been 2 years since we moved on.
A friend told me that he recently got into another relationship. However it turns out that he still uses some indirect mechanism (like coding) to make sure that his relationship and even the public posts/pics he uploads of her (which are visible to everyone) are hidden from me. What's concerning is that fb doesn't have any feature whatsoever which allows someone to hide a public post so he is using an indirect mechanism to achieve this. Being worried, I blocked him to see how he'd react, but he almost immediately got to know I blocked him and he instantly went back and 'unhid' those posts.

So who is stalking who?
Whatever seems obvious from the post
It seems you are following him though ☺
I haven't viewed his fb profile in at least 2 years. When someone told me that he uploaded photos and I just decided to check out of curiosity. But I couldn't find any of the photos despite it being public, that's when I figured that something was wrong.
I realised that since there is absolutely no fb feature which enables a user to hide a public post from someone without blocking them, he used some indirect mechanism like coding to hide it from me.
I gave it a month and when he was least expecting it, I decided to find out whether he was monitoring my social media page and so I blocked him to see how he'd react. Almost immediately, he gets to know and he goes back and unhides those photos.
My concern is how he managed hide the public photos on fb without blocking me and what he's using to achieve this.
