What should women be doing to maintain a relationship?

He’s required to do the lawn… Well look here how about bringing him a drink 15 minutes through? He’s working hard for the home… Understanding the difference means you can value his sacrifice.


The most important thing a woman bring to a man is… Acknowledgement. Most men are not successful. Their just able to get by with varying degrees of success. Productivity is proven to go up with confidence and confidence is built when people believe in and trust you… and recognize you. And if we’re being honest… most men aren’t yet men with them lacking the masculine figures in their lives… Your going to have to step up yourselves ladies.

Emotional support, submissiveness, and sex. The man has a life mission and a woman should be doing everything to support him to get him there. Women get offended by these three things I’ve mentioned, but it’s what men desire the most. A woman who will emotionally be there for her man, trust him to lead, and give him sex when he desires it will make her man feel like a million bucks. He will be more confident, successful, and be able to give so much more back to her. A lot of modern women think that these things are optional. It’s a selfish mindset.

The real question should be what should men AND women do to maintain a relationship. It’s not one sided! It takes time, honesty, trust, respect, commitment, compromise and being who your and not being fake. Thats has to be from both people or it will never work.

This is kinda duh but the problem with people is they won’t give effort if what their working for produces either little or no results. For instance… if she’s working hard for the relationship but he don’t see it because he values something else it might appear what she’s bringing is of little or no value to him and he can lose interest and she lost him even putting forth real effort.

This happened to me. My ex showed appreciation for the things I did so rarely I remember every single time it happened… Women need to be wanted and men want to be needed.

This don’t discount one sides responsibility over the other just focuses on what one side should do.

@VanillaSalt I do agree with you, I have seen it as a spectator to my sister's relationship. Her and her partner care about eachother and do a lot for eachother, however they don't always see it themselves.
It can be really hard in relationships, especially when they is an expectation for either side which maybe doesn't match the reality. I've not been great at this either, as sometimes I expect more from my partner in my head that I forget the stuff he does do on occasions, therefore I try and show how much I appreciate what he does do more

@katieb713 I felt a bit insulted at your first sentence myself initially. If I was in a bad mood I might have made up my mind on the spot the rest of your post wasn’t worth listening to and that explains your POV.

While it’s true you don’t need to worry about hurting others feelings I feel we have gotten too comfortable walking the line. People get offended easy these days and offenders don’t care.

I wanna provide a perspective. A lot of men don’t like being bad mouthed obviously and assuming men are the problem or even a problem can be considered bad mouthing men. Get over it right? Well for the last decade? Men have been “getting over” being societies punching bag especially in the last few years while women are promoted in all ways… From my end I’m not a rapist, abuser, nor do I sleep around or treat women badly because I’m better… and yet I have personally suffered attacks by the women of this country including being yelled at for holding a door and falsely accused of sexual assault. I’m also included in the “men are trash” and #killallmen movement… so yeah. Fuck feminists.

To be fair though I fucking hate people these days after the last few years of stupid that’s been ruining my country.

I don’t support people telling others what they can or cannot say aka censorship and hate speech but I equally believe we should actively TRY to not offend.

Second point. You state it takes both sides to maintain a relationship and yet also state you don’t care if men get offended by how you speak when referring to them. That’s a bit hypocritical don’t ya think?
