Why does it seem like so many very attractive women (say, in the 8-10 range) have such a difficult time finding a partner?

It seems that the more attractive and confident I’ve gotten the less luck I have with finding a suitable partner. Maybe it’s also covid and lack of meeting place. I know I’ll get backlash for wondering this. It seems like when I was overweight and lacked confidence more men were all up in my business. Now it’s like very strangely difficult to keep anything going.
I notice this with other women as well who are very attractive in the ~ 8-10 range.

As women tend to think they get more attractive they get higher expectations while simultaneously are usually getting less attractive to men. So what happens is you are hoping more and more for perfect yet simultaneously the guys actually up at that level and even below it are viewing you more and more as undateable.

Im just talking in general here so dont take it too personally.

Personally i knew a girl in HS who claimed she had a "glow up" because she discovered makeup and got As for her college degree and a career. Tbh she was highly attractive when she barely passed HS was cute and just was sweet and wanted a husband and a baby.

Her glow up to me looked like she got way shitter as a proposition. Now she has degree and career, both unimportant, wears lots of makeup, turnoff, is older and slept with more men id assume, not ideal, and not that sweet i just want a baby attitude anymore, not attractive, and has id assume debt from college, not ideal. So how is she better now? Answer is she's not.

My point is make sure the things you're doing to attract a man are actually going to attract a man and specifically the one you want to attract. This is where most women fuck up in my opinion.

Off the top of my head:
-Higher standards. If your appearance improves, you probably think you can do better than you could before, and might get pickier.
-Perception of higher standards. For the much the same reason, other people might THINK you've gotten pickier, whether or not you have, and be less likely to approach you. Naturally, this would be more of an issue for women.
-Presumed unavailability. The better looking you are, the more likely a guy's going to figure you're already attached.
-Lack of sensed insecurity. Not EVERYONE who likes going after those who lack self-confidence is an abusive predator; some people just like safer bets. Rejection sucks, after all, and the better looking you are, the more likely you'll feel free to reject somebody.

Covid restrictions and the associated fears aren't likely to help, either.

For all guys get flack for being the "more visually obsessed" gender, there's a lot who've experienced a lot of rejection so either downgrade or realistically view where they are in the attractiveness scale.

Chances are, if you're now looking better than you did, most guys are pre-rejecting themselves under the believe that you wouldn't want a guy like them. Might be time to put that new confidence into approaching the guys you want, rather than waiting for them to come to you.

Women, especially the 9s and 10s by virtue of hypergamy are after only the very top 1% of men in terms of reputation, game, status, socioeconomic gravitas, income, etc. Those guys have all the choices and aren't doing the settling down because for them playing the game is winning. From a sexual point of view, women who are 9s and 10s should utilize the short window of youth and fertility (peak) and secure a reasonably high value man, and cash out.

A couple of reasons.
They are all going for Chads that don't want relationship while the guys that will be good to them are either just hookups or put in the friendzone and only pulled out for validation
They only think they are an 8-10. A lot of women rank themselves way too high.
The ones that are 8-10 are intimidating and so even male 8-10s do not approach them

sadly... Nice guys avoid attractive women... Generally, they are more concerned with petty details than real issues. Normal women aren't all about "How they look" and care about 'starving homeless ' as an example... if seeing an 'injured cat/dog' makes you worry about getting something on your shoes, and not about its welfare... it shows me where you Heart lies and therfore, I am not interested in you...

Could be many things, very picky, too hot, out of most people leagues. Or think they are already taken. I find myself a 6.5 done times a little more. And I can't picture those 8+ bring interested in me. And there's the dam guys have to make all the first moves part. Which she can easily ask a guy out herself.

Simple because they're chasing the top 20% of men & these men have options and a lot of womem don't get picked. They could easily find a partner if they went after the bottom 80% but womem don't want these men. So you won't settle but the high value mem don't want you. Tragic 🎻

Women who are 3-6’s believe they are 10’s because of the endless illusion of choice they get from simps online. Their standards are unrealistically insane and they only aim for the top 1% of men.

So Actually attractive females are way more entitled, spoiled, and shallow. Most men have zero chance of being with these women. They only want the douchebag meathead chads.

I have a suspicion, that women below these ratings are perceived to be easier to woo than the 8-10 girls.
Furthermore the pick up artists sometimes aim specifically for the lower attractiveness for those girls might be insecure or vulnerable to become insecure. Pick up artists operate by making the girl feel (even more) worthless and make her feel like she's lucky to be with him. Of course they may attempt the same on the 8-10 girls too.

Well, some might be intimidated or think that an attractive woman would already be taken. Also, many women think they are 8,9,10 but are not as attractive to men. What women think is attractive is not the same as what men think is attractive.

To be fair irrespective of anyone's beauty most people are horrible so it's very hard to find a good one. Attractive women ask for impossible standards in men, most good guys I know are married to good women who aren't great looking but very kind, generous, respective, and supportive to them. Even if you see self-made CEO and billionaires they all married average supportive, intelligent women.

Because most likely they wait for guys to approach them instead of doing some of the approaching. And it's not usually the "quality" guys that do the approaching, so many stay single.
