Do you seek EMOTIONAL SUPPORT from strangers?

Some people don’t get “emotional support” from their families… reflecting on my own experience I have seen myself looking to others for emotional support. I’ve been turned away almost every time pointing out this is the job of my family, likewise offering emotional support to someone who has not asked, may feel pathetic and in a way disgusting.

Some will click with a friend group, some may sink theirselves into drugs, some find religion.

But, I see many on this site seeking ”answers”, I see them seeking “emotional support”. The world is full of horrible parents, no wonder it’s full of socio and psychopaths. A dog needs a good master, I’m sure many here would choose the life of their dog over a stranger’s.
