Was he threatening me, does he have issues?

hi all, my boyfriend said something like "I wish you were into gaming too so I could build you a PC" and he said this in a good way and even said he did not mean it negatively, but I did not see it this way in the moment and asked if he wished I was a gamer girl and it turned into an argument then he started to get all huffy with me and give me attitude and ignored me and I yanked the phone out of his hand and I admit this was a bad move, and disrespectful but I cannot handle silent treatment and he has given me silent treatment before for days at a time in the past to punish me, and even relished in using this word to describe the reason. He got mad at me about us arguing, even though he caused the argument by being the one to raise his voice and give me attitude I just told him that although he wasn't trying exactly to say he wishes I was different I didn't like what he said and said this is like if I said "I wish you went to the gym more" or "I wish you were into surfing". He got super mad and ignored me and shut his eyes, refusing to speak to me which of course made me react and lash out because silent treatment is horrible, and I was mad and saying things under my breath and he proceeded to call me a cunt, and said he hates me, he said he doesn't love me and told me to leave, said im not welcome here after asking me to move in with him a few days ago (mind you I moved 400 miles and he said I dont love him and aren't committed and dont trust him, maybe I would if he didn't tell me were done every time he gets pissed) and he wouldn't even look me in the face despite ME apologizing, and when I started to gently poke him ( I know it is annoying but in the face of silent treatment I felt like I had no choice) he said "I swear you want me to hit you" we picked the place together and all as well, so its a bad situation.
was he threatening me? I found his hitting me comment to be revolting, as well as him saying he doesn't love me etc. thoughts please

Wow, it didn't take long at all for that to snowball! Not saying you don't have a right to how you feel, but you both over reacted big time! He's initial comment, was just a genuine one and didn't "mean" anything (such as wanting someone else). One thing you should learn about guys, we rarely have hidden meanings in what we say (like women do lol). Take general comments like this, this way as just that. Face value. If you do, you can avoid HUGE fights like this in the future.

No it wasn't a threat, but it was a "warning" that "hey, you need to back off and stop" But this never should've escalated to this huge argument. I don't think you guys are compatible, and suggest maybe ending this relationship.

Saying "I wish" to your SO is NEVER a good sign.
From what I read, dude has problems, and, this is important, it's NOT your job to fix them. You can't if you tried. He has to fix himself.
The only thing you can do is support them, within reason.

Take it from me, I did that, and it didn't work out well.

I am not saying what I did was ok by placing so much focus on his meaningless comment about wishing I liked video games more but sounds like you agree with me that he is super toxic and has issues?
