The best way as with ANYONE you meet for the first time is put any preconceived thoughts of them out of your mind, and just wing it.
You can learn a great deal about people just by talking to them.

Learn some very simple and basic questions. just to get the conversation going.. Initiating conversation becomes easy with practice.

I stayed over and came home Sunday afternoon. They loved me his nieces and nephew warmed up to me and we played pretty much the whole time they were there after dinner and before I really do not feel a part of the family now the next step is for him to make an official by putting a ring on it but I’m not rushing him
