Yeah. It's not hard, unless they consider it as part of their personality/lifestyle. If it gets to that point then no, i couldn't.
I use it for medical and relaxation from stress & muscle exhaustion from being tight & tensed up all of the time. People who consider it a lifestyle turn it into a bad habit and smoke as much as they can including their partner's and friends till its all gone. It's like a food addiction at that point.
I can't live with someone like that, but if they casually smoke then it is fine.

Absolutely not. I have a person who was really very important to me who died because of alcohol. I saw the damage it did, until I no longer recognized the person I knew and loved. Alcohol, you are going to tell me, is not the same thing as drugs. but for me it's the same thing. it is the same addiction and in the end it is the same destruction. I would always fight against that, I don't want other people to go through what I went through. To be for that is to praise death. Please always fight against.

Yeah, I currently am. Marijuana is one of the least harmful drugs out there and you can’t overdose on it in a deadly manner. If my partner wants to have a joint to relax and sleep well after a long hard day at work, I’m all for it. I don’t smoke myself but I’m not against people who do smoke it.

Perhaps at an earlier time, say like the 60's when my friends all thought it was fun to do because everyone else was doing it also. I wouldn't do it now, too old to put up with that. I'm not innocent by no means, I smoked it in my younger years often finding myself with a serious munchy craving. Sat numerous times at 2:00-3:00 am at a 24 hour Jack in the box in my hometown. I didn't indulge on a daily/nightly basis, I preferred drinking as opposed to smoking. Somehow waking up in a bed I had no idea who was next to me or where I was started to bother me, thinking that it was time to change that.

Honestly, I don't drink, I don't party, I don't smoke. I know its normalized in todays society especially in the West. I've asked people I talk to why they do it. They said they do it as a form of coping with stress. But it doesn't help them feel better. I am turned off because if I didn't smoke or drink and I cut off my guy friends where we no longer talk to each other, I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone. I might date them and fool around but I wouldn't take them seriously. It's because if I had kids, the parents play a vital role. What I want to ask people is if they smoke or drink because it relieves stress. If there were free methods to cope with stress without using those things would people still use it?

If taking medicinally. They don’t tend to smoke it. I know a lot of people who use it only for things like severe migraines. Myself included. Works far better than otc pain meds and no side effects when used infrequently.
