Make sure you trust her. Talk about your expectations regarding communication (how often are you gonna text, call, video call, etc), plan out ways to have virtual date nights, you need to be transparent and open with each other, have a plan to meet up in person.

I was in a LDR for 2 years then we moved in together. We broke up after 6 years together bc we grew up and realized we wanted different things (nothing to do with the LDR). So it can definitely work, you gotta meet up at least 2x a year, there’s also a lot of things you can do virtually if you have urges. If you can’t resist those urges then a LDR is not for you,
