I sent a follow request to a woman I use to work with at my former part time job and she didn’t except my follow request?

I was wondering if it’s because the guy I use to work with was interested in me but I wasn’t interested in him and she liked him and I’m wondering if she knew that and that’s why she didn’t except my follow request. No rude comments please.
