I believe it means that find the person that you want don't settle for less or who wants you and you don't want them but you're settling for them because you don't want to be alone or for all the wrong reasons you should want to be with the person because you both love each other and you have similar values, goals in the big thing is long-term goals of what you would like.

Well typically people take settling as not compromising on anything in finding a partner. Basically if the person doesn't have everything you want in a partner to not give them a chance or date them. Its usually seen as a bad thing to settle but I disagree. Everyone settles for the most part in life in general. Just find traits you can't live without and others that may be good to have for you but aren't something you need to be truly happy.
