So a good friend of mine keeps telling me “finally I’m not alone in the world anymore now that I have you”. Is he in love with me?

It is almost impossible to predict whether your friend is in love with you based on one sentence. It might just be platonic and there is a good chance that you are reading too much into this.

Does he hint at dating or flirt with you? Do you have feelings for him?

Probably. The “alone” thing obviously doesn’t mean friendship or platonic emotions because If it did his other friends and family would fall in that same category, and he wouldn’t have felt “alone” before either. I got out of an 8 year relationship a few months ago and I felt alone af despite moving back in with my brother who I’m very close with. He’s referring to a different type of alone, which most likely means emotional interest in you.

I don’t know whether or not he’s in love with you but I definitely think he needs more friends. It’s unfair of him to put so much pressure on you.
