Are some people just bound to be alone?

I have a friend, he's in his late 20s now and all his life he was alone, never formed relationships or friendships long term etc. He talks to people but doesn't hang out with anyone. He's always alone.

It sounds like he is just anti social for whatever reason , he might of experienced some trauma’s at a young age as to why he keeps things to himself , and he probably feels safe for doing so , Today’s world is a complete mess , the society and economy is a disaster, In some ways I don’t blame him for keeping to himself , because people can be complete backstabbing assholes

Does he feel alone? I think there is loneliness, oneness, and then wholeness. I know i sound crazy but after being alone long enough you learn to love yourself and everything else as much as yourself. rather then loving one thing more then another like most people do... in that way a person who looks alone isn't bound to be alone (with no one) they are bound to everything and everyone the same. When I say it like that it doesn't sound so much like being alone...

Friends are very selfish and difficult nowadays especially when they’re married their wife controls them. I don’t need friends like this and you have to walk on eggshells and be very careful. What you say to them even though they can cause problems I’m not gonna put up with this kind of treatment
