How much of an age gap is appropriate for a relationship?

I guess it depends on the country, culture, religion, family, area of the world, etc. As long as it's legal and not going to cause more problems that it's worth, it doesn't really matter if the two people are happy and not taking advantage of each other.

I would say anything over a 10 year age gap is a bit too much. Anything over 20 years, is downright creepy and weird. I don't understand what these two people would have in common other than sex, they're in two different generations

I've had more than one 14 year gap and they were great relationships. Still friends with them to this day.
