A partner who loves you will likely trust you, unless you betray them. They won't question you when you see friends, follow you, or go through your phone or computer. If they have no reason to believe you've been dishonest, they won't accuse you of lying or cheating, or insist you go everywhere together.
There is no key indicator that says "yep, he/she loves me". You just know. I see you mention some things in the details that are very important in a relationship and certainly part of what makes you love someone.
Here are my biggest things that I believe make an incredibly strong relationship... trust, respect and communication. There are, of course, other things but those to me are the big three that have to be strong.
I have to be able to trust my partner (I do very much). You need a mutual respect between each other. That just is common sense though. The last thing might be number one on my list. Communication is key in a relationship, whether it be dating, engaged or marriage.
You need to be able to effectively communicate with your partner. If you cannot, the relationship is doomed. As far as love goes, my fiancé (@the_koala) does all sorts of little things that make me feel special.
They are things that make me feel like I am the most important thing in the world to him. I imagine he will admit that I do the same for him. That is how we know we love each other. All the things we do to show appreciation, along with being very strong in the areas I mentioned.

You just know mate. My fiancée @PrettyPriya is spot on. You need some serious trust and communication. You don’t have that and you are screwed my guy. That isn’t what makes love though. Love is something that is earned and that takes time. You earn it by committing to that person. You kind of know when you wake up that one day and look at her and think there is not a thing in this world I wouldn’t do for her. You just want to protect her and make sure nothing bad ever happens. That is the best I can describe the feeling.
You feel it. They make you happy. You trust them. You feel safe with them. They accept your shortcomings and won't judge you.
