Was it a bad idea lying about a long-term relationship?

We've been dating for nearly 5 months and I'm assuming she must be wondering why things haven't gone further than making-out. We never seen each other naked either and I haven't really made further moves.

She only said about not being in a relationship for a couple years and being busy with work. I briefly lie about being in a long-term relationship once long ago. I didn't add anything else. I guess part of me wanted my answer to match hers.

If I haven't made further moves it's obvious why. Was it a bad idea lying about a long-term relationship?
