Is it normal to cry over how much you love someone?

I sometimes find myself crying over how much I love my boyfriend (cheesy I know but I can’t help it 😅)

I told one of my friends about it and she thinks it’s really weird and not a good sign…

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with our relationship though, and I love the hell out of him. So much so that I literally start crying sometimes over how much he means to me and the fact that I’m lucky enough to have a person like him in my life.

Has this happened to anyone else? Can this be normal?

I mean if it’s not I’m more than happy to accept the fact that I’m crazy 😆

I mean if its normal for you then its fine. Not going to say I would go around telling people about it though... it always came come across as being a little obsessives as well. So I would not say love him less or tone it down, but I for one never understood the tears of joy thing. When I am seriously happy I never cry about it... I cry when I am sad.

Does sound weird to me, yeah a little. Is it normal... who can say for certain. I don't think I would go around sharing it out loud with other people and not expect strange looks or some degree of concern from my friends.

I say that but on the same level I would love to have met someone that loved me that much. I have seen these women who act like their man walks on water and often thought how did this guy achieve that? If my girlfriend told she cried because she loved me so much I would probably not think it weird at all and I would feel pretty good about it.

Yes it is and in some ways it should be reassuring. We do not lose sleep or tears over someone we do not care about. It sounds like when you love that you love hard.

That's admirable and communicates a sincerity that is very difficult to find these days. That boy is going to regret letting you go... at sometime he will realize that was not a good move.

And yeah... you're crazy too... Sweet crazy is attractive though !!

😂Can't say I've ever cried over someone that way. Only when my heart was broken by someone I cared about. But I'd much rather cry in your situation. It's quite nice actually

Yes, its very normal but more so for girls because girls are more emotional.
