I was 16 and my friend group had splintered, I was trying to be a good friend to everyone because I was a people pleaser and tbh still am a bit but I’m working on purging that. Anyway I was trying to act like nothing had happened and cheer up my friends who’d just broke up, Adam was cold towards me and honestly I think it was his first love and me being a dumb kid just took it as “I guess he’s a lost cause” so I stopped going to hang with him, I kept to the vast majority of what was left of that friend group and the other friend from the relationship Megan invited me round her house after school, We went there and ended up in her bedroom. We watched YouTube a load of funny videos. She ended up messing around with me and at one point she almost actually managed to pin me down by putting her full body weight on me and my arms, after giggling and me managing to break the hold she kept saying hey what’s that? And kissing me on the cheek. Me being an oblivious 16 year old kid who didn’t want to read the room wrong thought it was just more playful games. I did it back a few times as the evening went on and then we sat on her bed and was watching a horror movie. She then said it again “Hey what’s that?” I looked away and nothing. I looked back and she just came real close and held my head in her hands and kissed be tongue and all. I then recoiled for a second and she asked me if I was alright. I said yes at the time I just needed a minute, what I really felt was disgust in myself because she was my friends ex and I knew how cut up he was when she decided to let him go. I felt awkward when playfully kissing her cheek because I knew she wanted something more intimate but I just hoped it’d pass or if she asked I could let her down gently. anyhow not long after while I was just processing what had happened she came up behind me and hickied my neck and then her mum came in. The both left the room and then she came back and told me her mum said she didn’t know her daughter was active in that way. I then died inside from embarrassment and when leaving left very swiftly as to avoid engaging with her already glaring dad.

It wasn't really that romantic. The background story is kind of cute tho. When i was 15 (i think) i started confirmation school (no idea if that is what it's translated to but in german it is confirmations unterricht (the time where you go to the church to learn about god etc)). We were a small group of i think 3 girls and 4 or 5 guys if i remember correct. After the first two times i found my self wanting to get to know this one girl better and we started to do allmost everything during class together. After class i had to pass by her home to get to my home and it became a ritual that we walked around the block after class. Sometimes it was only 3 rounds (15min) but it also got up to 4hours. After the year was almost over we finally decided to become a couple. About 3 month later we were walking around the block again (i think just for fun or the old times) and when it was about time for me to go home i asked her if she would be okay if we kissed. We then kissed. The relationship held 6month but we are best friends ever since
