@msputiton One thing that a lot of people fail to understand, and i mean this from both men and women.. Relationships are work. Especially marriage. In fact i would go so far as to say that marriages are the hardest relationships to maintain. Lots of people go into marriage so in love that they think love is all that is needed. Sure love is fantastic. I love my wife with all of my heart. But if i didn't do things like Taking her out on date nights, or remembering her favorite food and learning how to make it. Or, Using my 3d printing hobby to make her things.. Or just remembering to be there for her and hold her when she is sad, or down or crying. She does all of these things for me too by the way. But failing to do the little things. Failing to put the work in, will doom any marriage to failure.
And most young people dont want to do that, They tend to take for granted relationships and dont feel the need to put the work in. Notice im not using gender here.. Because the fault in this situation lies with both genders equally.
Separate bank accounts and separate bedrooms my parents and both grandparents had separate bedrooms and they all were together till death
