Generally do male cheaters get caught faster than female cheaters?

Lets assume there are 20 male cheaters and 20 unfaithful girls, eventually distributed. They're all equally cheating on their partners or spouses.

Generally are male cheaters caught faster? Since most of us are into snooping around and curious (sometimes by accident), then maybe that's why they get caught faster.

I would suspect so. If they're like me, they're way dumber!

I remember this one time when I was hanging out at my girlfriend's apartment (she's now my wife) and I woke up on a weekend while she headed out. Then I browsed through her DVD shelves and found a porno.

Then I popped it in and watched it and did my stuff and I was so careful to put the DVD cover right where I left it. When I put it there, I even noticed the DVD shelves tilted at a different angle from before so I fixed the angle.

Then I took a nap and my wife found the porno in the DVD player.

I also can't keep a secret for the life of me. After marriage, my friends once goaded me into coming to a strip club. Then I kept refusing -- I'm married -- and they kept pushing me and I got them to all pinkie swear that they wouldn't ever tell my wife about it. But as soon as I came home, I told my wife all about it like, "I went to a strip club! I saw other women's breasts!" She forgave me quickly but then it upset all my friends since they thought they were keeping a huge secret when my wife asked them about the strip club.

I think in general although I am an extreme case, guys might not be so good at keeping secrets and lies for long. I think guys are excellent at quick little lies. "Did you eat the cookies?" "Who me? What? I don't know what you're talking about. What do you think about this film?" But not so good at big secrets.

I got some low temptations TBH. I wanted to go to the strip club. I wanna see girls dancing on the pole topless! But when I talk to a pretty girl in a bar these days, I show my wedding ring and talk about my wife. And it is very rare when that doesn't stop them but I had the rarest times when the girl said she doesn't mind that I'm married. So then my ultimate backup plan is to introduce them to my friends who are single. "Hey, this guy is so amazing! He does this and that and look at his face! It's so good-looking with the face here and eyes here and touch his chest. Very strong! It's like a chest of steel!"

Women tend to think they much more sneaky and can hide it but wher guys will leave digits al evidence by not deleting texts, girls show it by the same actions all girls end up doing. They include different habits with phone, change in frequency in sex, emotions, etc

True. More men aren't careful and make it so obvious. A couple other guys decided to cheat either in their house or their girlfriend's house; which is so easy to get caught... they're idiots lol.

I don't know. Supposedly women are better at hiding their cheating and being sneaky liars, except mom. Long ago before I was even born (1992) my dad literally caught my mom in the act of cheating with his former best friend. It happened in his own house. Somehow they worked it out and they still got married in 1996; 4 years later after said incident.

Off course neither of my parents told me this. I read this revelation by accident on my dad's old private journal. I never knew this till a couple months ago.

Well that must be an exception. No offense but why would anyone cheat in the partner's house? That's an easy and obvious way to get caught.
If they worked it out and are now at peace, then ok.

I'm not sure. I think men are more reckless about it overall. I've been caught when I was reckless and didn't care. Usually, a mutual female friend tattle-telling or something like that. I got cheated on and went on a revenge cheating rampage and I never got caught once. We're talking about 10 different women and some lasting as long as 9 months. I was much more calculative about it. ... maybe because the cheating had a purpose beyond lust alone. I was pissed off because I decided to be loyal for once and change who I've been and did, until that point.

I'm back to normal and wouldn't bother with cheating anymore. I am different in just assuming people (male or female) are going to cheat if they are doing things that put them in the situations.
So if you have a bar star or dancing queen, or someone that thinks flirting is just good fun as a partner... I just assume they will cheat within a given amount of time.

Male cheaters usually cheat with a woman, and that woman starts wanting a relationship. That's how men usually get caught. If male cheaters cheat with a guy, they can generally keep that quiet indefinately. Whereas female cheaters are, themselves, generally the biggest risk. If they can keep quiet about it, most men they cheat with are more than happy to have access to free ass for as long as possible. But women tend to start either feeling guilty or start feeling like they need to leave their man.

They just seems to be More stigma and difficulty for male cheaters than female. There is more of a got you moment for male cheaters, and courts have upheld that female cheaters are still entitled to half of the property in a divorce. Isn't that male privilege great?

to be fair, the signs of a cheating woman are a lot more obvious but guys usually choose to ignore them.

also when a guy gets caught, he tends to fess up to his mistakes whereas a girl has plausible deniability and some excuses ready to be used.

some women might admit guilt but for the most part, safety is something all women want and the consequences of admitting to cheating could potentially put her in an unsafe situation.
historically, women evolved to speak in code rather than speak direct thus lying or virtue signaling tends to happen more in women than men. men who lie and virtue signal can be easily identifiable and quickly cast out by the tribe.
in historic terms, because a man was typically stronger than woman, he could get away with more stuff i. e. cheating even if he told the truth or got caught whereas a woman could potentially get killed if she got caught or told the truth.
sure we now have languages, technology and laws that protect us but our primal hardwiring hasn't changed for million of years. it's the same reason why we're afraid of the dark.
even today women will stay things to someone that aren't entirely true just not to hurt their feelings even if a dose of harsh reality is actually needed for them for example a mom could tell her son, he is handsome but when he goes through endless rejections, is he really that handsome?

I read this somewhere too. So in ancient times my mom would've been killed. What I'm about to say is base on what I read in my dad's private journal:
Years before I was even born and my parents were just in a relationship, he caught her (literally in the act) with his friend. Dad punched and fought his friend but didn't harm her. He went physical on the friend but still didn't hit her. Somehow things were worked out (I don't know how but they were), she got forgiven and they still got married 4 years after her cheating.
Strange isn't it. He went after the friend but she got spared from physical harm.

@SarahS98 people do have a tendency to inflict greater harm on those who are most similar to themselves than those who are different despite the rewriting on history the political left like to do.
history is wrought with similar people harming similar people.
in the case of your father, there's a bro code amongst men that shouldn't be broken and your friend broke that. why your father forgave your mother, I have no idea but luckily he did.

Men tend to be most of the smartest and the dumbest people. Where most women tend to be average. Which leads me to believe some segment of men are very easy to catch cheating and some men are very good at hiding it and even have a secret whole other family or two. Where most women are mostly good enough to hide it in general.

True. The stupid cheaters that get caught easily are those for instance would cheat on places more easier to get caught. For instance a guy cheating on his house or girlfriend's house is idiotic.

Some men take their girlfriends to hotels but they still get caught, like a friend of mine did. I think it all depends on how good of an investigator the spouse is.

Or maybe the spouse was already suspecting it and needed to confirm. If the spouse has cheated before (is reformed) then they already know the scheming and lying involved and are able to catch another cheater.
