How will you react if your partner makes insulting jokes about you and then say it was just for fun don't overeat or you always misunderstand me... they repeatedly do it after you telling them not to... will you still be a relationship with them

wouldn't accept that. my wife dealt with that with her X in some regards, more physical assaults. you have to stand up for yourself and retrain them.

their training was crap, their empathy is nil, and they are in reality, hurt little children.

how to respond... some people only respond to pain. slowly amp up the pain until they can listen, for they are discarding your feelings.

As I guy I bust balls (still counts even if you don't have balls). So our relationship is our relationship. If you want to tease me, fine. But if you dish it out you better be willing to take it. My guess is (based on what i know of most women) she will be the one complaining in the end that I went to far. Wtf?

That wouldn’t be acceptable to me. Joke or not the intention to hurt or lower one’s self esteem is still there. He seems like an insecure little boy who needs to make her feel bad and feel like she can’t do better than him to keep her in a relationship with him. When he knows full well that she’s can do better. She deserves better

Absolutely not. It's a set boundary and they repetively cross it. They don't respect her and she should stand up for herself. My ex used to call me a different version of my name bc he liked it better. I told him it's not my name and I find it blatantly disrespectful and he said we can "agree to disagree". Hence EX
