What have my eyes seen with love? Sunsets in Japan and sunrises on Guam. The birth of children and the lowering into the ground of parents and grandparents. Blizzards and snowballs and hot cocoa and typhoons and power outages and instant coffee. Sex and making love. Fast cars and minivans. Tiramisu and chocolate chip cookies. Alpine mountains and Australian deserts. Atlantic coastlines and Appalachian forests.
