What Hobbies or interests are an absolute red flag, if any?

The idea of a hobby as a red flag is somewhat weird to me but there's some clear red flags if the person is stalker, into dog fighting, or any similar case.

When I read stalker and dog fight I read them together and read dog walker. Was wondering how dog walking was a red flag. Anyway, then I re-read it.

They become a red flag for me if that's all the person talks about and the only place they spend their time and all their money goes to it. That demonstrates an inability to lead a balanced life but more importantly a possibility to have a wholesome relationship.

Other specific ones? Gambling. Cards. Really dangerous pursuits. Hobbies that are solo.

Making fake checks, IDs, passports or even money. Yes there are people who do that as a hobby. I think they do it just for the thrill and also to receive the "Omg you're so cool" validation to feed the narcissism lying underneath them.

Hunting. Being a fan of certain people (eg Andrew Tate, certain former prime minister's, Bieber in his trash phase etc), getting into fights.

I'd never read it. I looked it up and read the summary. I would have been angry at any teacher that would have tried to make me read that. Everyone in that story is flawed and selfish and a few weirdos too. Yuck.

@Andres77 and Irishgirl02 ... it was an uncomfortable read and not a book I'd pick up again or one that I'd take to read by the pool, but sometimes books and literature do that and are worth at least one read through, particularly in an academic setting. But, yeah, I like the summary of Holden as "such a selfish turd" and "Everyone in that story is flawed and selfish and a few weirdos too" -- to that last one, though, isn't that all of us humans? Flawed and selfish and weird?

Lol but you eat meat most if these animals are hunted infact just a acouple hundred years ago that's how everyone ate hahaha was hunting. And they're also slaughtered and sold and we eat them at the store. I'm just surprised people find that as a red flag but eat them hahahaha knowing dang well how we get them as food.
