boyfriend of three years always let me go through his phone, he’s always expressed he doesn’t like it and that it makes him feel like j don’t trust him even though he’s done nothing. Our relationship has had tough times due to my trust issues, so last week I grabbed his phone to look through it and he got mad and said I hate when you do it I’m so over it. This weekend he said no more I’m done, he grabbed his phone everytime I tried and said “Trust me, I love you” “ stop it please” but everytime I grabbbed his phone he took it and we fight over it. I don’t know what to do this past weekend he had the house to himself and yes he called me after he got off work and we talked all night but I am upset, I don’t trust this. I know some of you will talk shit but I am going through a serious withdrawal and him not letting me go through it makes me feel he is hiding and I am so mad

This has nothing to do with him. It's all about your own insecurities. You focus on him because it is easier than focusing on yourself. You will never have a healthy relationship as long as you ignore your own insecurities. All you'll end up doing is setting up a self-fulfilling-prophecy. You're so sure it will happen, you'll push your partner into the trusting arms of another woman. Don't blame others for your choices.
If you want to face your insecurities, ask yourself what expectations you have of yourself. Are they realistic or not? If they're not realistic (ie I'm too short), get rid of them. If they are realistic (ie I want my body and mind to be healthy), get a clear picture of what it will look like when you achieve your goal, set realistic steps you can take to move in that direction, follow through, while measuring your progress. Be the partner he desires. Ask him what he values in a relationship, what he enjoys and appreciates about you, and what changes he'd like to see that would move your relationship forward. Chances are, you haven't taken the time to know what's going on it his head, yet you assume you do. Be a partner, or respect him enough to set him free to find a quality partner.
I would say just break it off if I were you. While it could be concerning. A phone is personal property that’s his
You have to decide to trust fully or not. It is up to you. You will get hurt either way.-This is life.
