Guys, what are the differences between the words attractive, cute, beautiful, gorgerous, etc. when you are speaking with a woman?

I was having a very good conversation with a guy - both of us intelligent, engaging, etc. - and he would refer to me as beautiful. I have had people tell me I am attractive, I don't wear makeup, but I am just curious about the differences. In general, not asking for mind readers.

Attractive = You like something about them, whether that be looks, personality, demeanor, or something else.

Adorable = Good looking and really petite/tiny (under 5'3") with a charming or innocent demeanor.

Cute = Good looking and short/petite (under 5'7"); a 6 out of 10 in looks.

Pretty = A 7 out of 10 in looks; a nice face, regardless of size;
a girl can be pretty without being attractive or dateable to someone (for example, Margot Robbie or Jennifer Lawrence; who aren't girlfriend-material.)

Beautiful = Good looking and medium height or tall (5'7" and over); an 8 out of 10 in looks.

Gorgeous = Really good looking; a 9 out of 10 in looks; regardless of size.

Hot = Sexy body and/or demeanor, a 7 or 8 out of 10 in physique; one can be hot without having a good-looking face.

Stunning = A really sexy body and/or demeanor; a 9 out of 10 in physique; usually requires being pretty or beautiful, too.

Flawless = Someone's own subjective personal 10 out of 10 in facial beauty or physique; no person in the world is an "objective" 10 out of 10, or literally perfect.

Alluring = Sexy/really attractive personality, usually with an air of mystique or mystery about them.

Appealing = A likeable demeanor, regardless of looks.

Elegant = Really lady-like appearance and sophisticated personality; like a queen.

Graceful = Really lady-like and mature demeanor; like a queen.

Charming = A really likeable personality with good conversational skills.

Charismatic = A really confident, engaging, or interesting personality; one can be charismatic without being "charming" (for example, Donald Trump, Kanye West, or Andrew Tate)

I think it is good to focus upon both the interplay and layered definitions of attractive, cute, gorgeous, and beautiful.

Attractive means that you are pleasing and a force in and of yourself whereas cute is a descriptor that incorporates personality and behaviors.-isn’t that puppy cute…

Beautiful eludes both attractive and charming as a whole. Beautiful seems to incorporate the whole person. Gorgeous describes a very beautiful person, therefore, this gorgeous person is the most beautiful in all her ways.

Gorgeous is the most attractive, cute, and beautiful woman ever to walk the earth.

It's way confusing, I agree.

In some ways, they can be stops on a scale, right? Cute, Attractive, Beautiful, Gorgeous, etc.

But they can also apply to the same person at different times depending on the context or other factors. My wife is a beautiful woman. But in a certain bathing suit I'd call her cute. Or in work clothes, you'd say "damn, she's attractive." But put her in a gown, with make up and diamonds and you'd say "gorgeous".

Complicating all of it is that different men and women apply the words differently.

For me they mean this:

Attractive = good enough physical appearance to date. (5 or 6)

Cute = very attractive and I want to touch her a lot, hugging, cuddling, kissing, etc. very often. (7 to 10) I may be physically clingy with someone that I would describe as cute if in a relationship with her.

Pretty = above average to very attractive (7 - 8)

I have never used the words beautiful or gorgeous to describe anyone.

A. Sexually arousing
B. Mentally stimulating
C. Convincingly beneficial

Cute can mean:
A. Adorable or endearing
B. Sexually alluring in a very feminine way.
C. Innocent but loving

Beautiful can mean:
A. Aesthetically or audibly pleasing
B. Emotionally, intellectually, or morally relatable or admirable

Gorgeous is typically a way to say exceptionally beautiful when referring to aesthetics.

for me, typically nothing. i switch them up partly to keep my mind diverse then some of it is the mood of how the energy i feel off someone comes across as to which version of the same meaning thst person would be more receptive to.

If he said you are beautiful it could mean that he felt attraction if you were starting to talk. Less about the word used and more the emotion it communicates. Did you call him beautiful?
