I can generally get people to open up. I have gotten a few gaggers to pick up the phone to call me.
there are some from here who refuse to expose themselves to the real world. SMH 🤦♀️
I don’t know how others communicate, just heard, read here that they don’t.
I told my daughter when she got her first phone around 12/13 years old to not text her grandma back and forth throughout the day because that grandma won’t stop texting…I said call grandma from time to time to show her you want to talk to her. But don’t allow her to make you her text buddy. You are in school and she is retired with too much time in her hands. she didn’t like it at first.
now that she is 15… she generally calls her friends. Takes a lot to raise kids but it’s important to do it right.
Maybe the important thing is leaving such comunications for AFTER everything else.
Please explain
That having such distractions isn't as relevant as when you choose yourself to get distracted.
This is why I don’t like texting.
I really have no idea which point you are referring to…if it was what I said.
I prefer making phone calls.
And I prefer in person :D
I have met a few gaggers in person and married to one.
Effective Communication is key in any relationships.
oh wow.
what would you say that effective communication requires?
Be a good listener.
then i'm already there :D
I dont know… will have to come from people you are close with to judge that.
@midnightmoon05 Very wise advice regarding grandma!
It doesn't seem like it. Look at how many posts on here are about texting someone. People have lost the art of communication.
It's weird cause a couple of girls texted me these days, by themselves, asking to chat with me. But the conversation was... strange. It was impossible to have a normal conversation.
Yeap, but I get the same impression in real life lately.
Curious how the “conversation” went.

Her1: Do you have Instagram?
Me: Sorry, I don't. But you can just email me, or talk with me here.
Her1: Okay.
Her1: Hi
Me: Hello, how are you doing?
Her1: Hi
Me: Hello miss.
Her1: Hello
I think that young people that grew up with social media have trouble forming deep friendships.
It's quite probable.
Mr System was to blame :D
Talk with others... How? In general? Or, like, dating?
In general and in dating.
Oh. Probably not. Definitely not for dating.
