To let her know she's the most important thing in the world to me. As a woman, how do you feel about me saying that? I don't think it's wrong. I think it's natural. I personally disagree and find it offensive. Why should I be completely submissive to someone else? I’m a human being with my own thoughts and feelings. It gives me the impression that the men who feel this way believe the woman should do anything they say even if they are uncomfortable with it, and that they have ownership of them. I’m my own person. I shouldn’t have to do things that make me uncomfortable, that isn’t love. I shouldn’t have to serve someone else, I am my own person. It makes me feel looked down on and seen as not an equal and less important/below you.


I am happy to do things for my man, I love doing nice things for him and I’m naturally more of a submissive person and he generally makes more decisions/is more of a leader. However, we are both equals. He doesn’t expect me to be submissive to him nor wants me to be. He understands I am a human being, he also loves me and does things for me. I make decisions, my own desires are not lower than his. We both work, we both do housework equally, our needs and wants are equal.
