Do you play videogames with your partner?

I mostly watch my wife playing while I hold the baby since I'm not a big gamer myself, but sometimes I ask her to try doing something or check something (ie.. those days she's playing Resident Evil Village) and to me it feels like we're playing together.

Thought she did try giving me the controller and try myself, but I give up quickly and won't even step out of the safe room lol.

When I had a partner yes we both liked video games but different types. I like Nintendo games he likes PlayStation. But we have played games together like Unraveled 2, Fall guys, Resident evil 5, COD: zombies (can't remember what it was called lol), It takes two, Mario kart, Pikmin 3, Just dance, The legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild he watched me play through it then I watched him play through lol I also watched him play through many games like God of war, final fantasy 7 and many others. It used to be fun... but also sometimes very annoying with him because when he plays a game like God of war.. that's all he will do until he beats it. Highly annoying when you want to do something on a weekend but he won't get off the game.

No, I'm not really into video games unfortunately. I will sit on the couch though with my husband when he plays and I'll browse on my computer or phone so we're still spending time together, even though we're focused on different things and that works for us. He's just happy I'm there, honestly. Lol

I’m usually busy with work and I use most of my free time to work some more. I don’t really pick up video games to play alone because I have better uses of my time.



But, my SO is very into video games. So, when I’m cutting time out of my week to spend with her, sometimes we play video games together.


One of the games that we enjoy playing the most together is a co-op game called Overcooked 2.


It’s a teamwork game where you’re in a cartoony kitchen cooking dishes together under a time limit. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

I would love to if I had a SO and we could enjoy the same games together but not let it take over our lives, still do plenty of other things. Have jobs and time away from the games.

My partner and I do. We have game night every couple of weeks and it helps us to bond better. I know it typically get my ass whooped but it’s nice to enjoy what he likes also.

I don't play video games at all. But if my girlfriend was into that then I would play with her. Or I would at least try. Lol

Yeah, we play together and she has been the most consistent partner and reliable player two for games when it comes to multi-player

Not really. Occasionally we will have a family Mario Kart showdown, but it's never the two of us playing alone.
