People can’t help who they are attracted to. In saying that, there is a difference between finding someone attractive and actively crushing on that person, especially if they are attached.

If your best friend is truly your best friend then there shouldn’t be anything to worry about as you should trust that she would keep an appropriate distance or be upfront and honest with you about her feelings towards him. If she doesn’t respect that, she doesn’t respect you.

In that case, I would just cut the so called ‘friendship’ (unless you’re willing to open up the relationship).

Need a bit more detail please? What's the scenario and how did this come to light? Was there a confession of sorts? And when you say "best friend", how close are you really? I would tend to believe that a true best friend could talk this out and in a way, you'd feel complimented. But if she intends to act on it, she's not your best friend to start with. It depends. Most guys think their friends’ partners are attractive anyway so most of the time it’s harmless. If it’s harmless like that then it’s okay. If it starts getting creepy like if they’re asking what she looks like naked or if she’s trimmed down below or if she’s really loud during sex, then it’s not okay.
