I've just learned that my sister and my ex boyfriend are dating. My sister admitted to me and apologized. How would you react if you heard such a thing? We haven't talked about it yet, I didn't say anything to her...
4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. It’s messed up to be honest , and disrespectful on your sisters part to do that to you , if my brother did that to me , I would knock him the fuck out honestly , but sadly this shit happens , cuz most people in general are selfish and only really care about themselves, i would lose respect for my brother if he did that shit and I would bust his balls like crazy on how he enjoys my sloppy seconds, but I guess in time , if they are truly happy together and their relationship works out, then I guess I would eventually get over it and be acceptive of it , but the truth is , it more than likely won’t , I had it happen to me before with EX Girlfriend sisters’ trying to get with me , after I broke up with their sister , I mainly did it for sex but I couldn’t fully commit to her , it was just weird to me , so I ended it with them as well, probably what your ex boyfriend will do with your sister , He will bang her for a bit then kick her to the curb , just my guess , All in all , your sister dug her own grave so let her lay in it , Your ex boyfriend just feels like he is the man so he can say he had both you sisters in bed , Your sister is a fool

Wow, that is a no-no in my book, honestly!! First, I have had a strained relationship with my sister since I was in my teens and when she was in her early 20s. My sister is promiscuous; strangely enough, she "hates women and would do anything to hurt them." Her words, not mine. It also seems that she would praise men or stick up for them, even if they are disrespectful! That didn't sit well with me. I always felt like I couldn't trust her. I didn't hate her, but I still loved her. However, from a distance, a far, FAR distance. When I was 17, we got into an argument right before college. We said something things, and normally I'd say anything disrespectful that came to my mind; however, this time, I was quiet. When she saw that I wasn't giving her no attention, she said this, and I quote, "You so Stupid, that's why you ain't going nowhere in life" to this day, that still sticks with me. Success is not everything in this world, and I wouldn't sell my soul for success; however, I wanted to be successful in my career, and when it came to academics, I wasn't the strongest like here. After this, I didn't invite her to my wedding reception or my wedding. I didn't invite her to anything. To answer your question, I wouldn't be surprised if she'd date my ex. My advice to you is to handle it gracefully and tell her there is nothing to discuss. Clearly, your sister has no type of morality and a faulty character.
Wish you the best luv!

This would seriously strain my relationship with my sister if it were me and I would likely never trust her again, this is definitely weird and disrespectful. While its technically "OK" to date an ex since you two aren't together before, it suggests an attraction that was going on while you were dating that is snakey and scary to be happening in your own family. Also not to mention it puts you in a very uncomfortable position at family gatherings, outings, etc. if she would bring him. Especially since everyone around you is probably pitying you and feeling the same weirdness of the situation. Would be uncomfortable all around. Overall, she is really showing how she feels about you (likely jealous or disdain, at least lack of care for your feelings). In the end it shows she's more interested in pursuing a romance that most likely won't end in anything signifigant over preserving your trust and relationship with her. I would distance yourself from your sister and tell her you are not going to be talking to her much anymore becuase of her actions, and I hope she knows apologizing retrospectively doesn't absolve her from her guilt either. I wish the best to you.

If your making it my brother dating an Ex though I would not find it cool but tbh I just wouldn't care. He can make his own mistakes. I would be lost less protective of a brother I guess just due to a slight bias I have towards disliking men.00 Reply

+1 y1. I'm glad I don't have a sister. If she did do that, I don't know what she would be thinking. I think it would be disrespectful to be honest. But I think it would also depend on the relationship (and how it ended), but overall, I wouldn't like her for doing that. There are more that 5 Million (give or take) dudes on planet earth, WHY him? ? ! ! 🤷♀️

@TenderFantasy you meant 5 billion of course (although it’s up to 8 now)
+1 yNo, it isn't. Unless (and I will put a big unless) the sister whose ex it is is genuinely okay with it. This usually can happen if it wasn't a serious relationship and the two didn't have deep feelings for one-another, or if it was a "puppy-love" relationship (again not serious.)
Otherwise, a huge no-no. Sisters who tend to date their sisters' exes are selfish, perhaps envious of her sister all along, and have questionable morals. It says a lot about both the sister's and the ex's character.

+1 yThis one girl started dating a guy when she was age 19, and he was age 45, and they are all born again Christians, and they had 2 biological children together, and he adopted her one son, so I believe you should contact your sister and have talked with her cause this girl I'm telling you about, married her late mom's old boyfriend.

+1 yIt depends. If it was a serious relationship and she was dumped by him, it would probably be a problem. It also depends on how much time has passed because if it was in middle school and they’re now out of college, nobody would even care at that point.

+1 yNo its not okay. It's really low and shameful if I'm being honest. If your close girl friends shouldn't date your ex for damn sure your relatives shouldn't. Your ex is wrong for even doing that with her too.
30 ReplyWhat a mess. What's the possible outcome, what would y'all do if they get attached and stay together? Sounds like a dangerous road that has no nice ending. There's plenty of opportunities out there, don't challenge your destiny.
00 ReplyPersonally, for me. I would be kinda shocked but, if it makes my ex and my twin sister are happy with each other then so be it. I’m really sorry for your situation though. I think you should probably tell her how you feel though.
10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. you are no longer dating him for whatever reason, so quite possibly she sees something in him that she likes that you didn't like.
You should be happy for her that she found someone.
You will get used to it over time.02 Reply

Opinion Owner+1 y@Pinz89 naive for sure but I wasn't intrested in revenge. I was very low after the break up and had always been good friends with my wife when I was dating her sister, used to take her on dates when the fair was in town or to the movies, even dinner, helped with her homework kind of like a big brother. Anyway I had been off in the army and at college and was back in town and she was all grown up and very pretty and not a little girl anymore, we got to talking and started hanging out. Then one night we got to kissing when I walked her home. Everything is so much easier with my wife compared to her sister.

Yikes. You're both not nice people. I feel for your ex.
Opinion Owner+1 y@BriannaWallace98 yeah the womzn who cheated on me and tried to ruin her sister's wedding after she got dumped is a saint

Doesn't give you an excuse to be bad people as well.
Opinion Owner+1 y@BriannaWallace98 we didn't cheat or screw anyone over. She just mad because she's alone, fat snd has a child and we are happy. You don't have rights to your ex
Opinion Owner+1 y@Pinz89 she is fat
