According to some friends my horoscope and my boyfriends horoscope are not compatible. I find this comical because we have a very strong and healthy relationship. Does anyone else follow these horoscopes so closely?

+1 yI think horoscopes are really stupid. I have trouble, because I know some people who I like very much who believe in this horseshit. I have to just... love them anyway. But it makes me wonder what the fuck could be going on in their brains to make them think this was legitimate. And if it were... what does that say about free-will? It just seems like you need to ignore a lot of bullshit that's clearly right there in front of you to believe in horoscopes. I have exactly as much respect for horoscopes as I do for alchemy.

A bunch of Barnum theory BS that can’t be proven. Have rarely met a woman around my age who WASN’T into them and for the most part they’re harmless but in the off chance someone challenges me on my skepticism I offer to read their horoscope for the day and ask them if they agree with the reading, which they do (and I do too since they are generalized statements) and then I tell them I read MY horoscope and that usually shuts them down. It only bothers me if they use horoscopes to define EVERYTHING in their life or even saying she did that “because she’s a Pisces” not because she’s an evil piece of sh*t human being? Okay.
Now, Numerology, that’s something completely different and the accuracy of that is startling, and I’m the biggest skeptic of them all. If I participate in anything it’s that.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yAnd how did they evaluate that?
Seeing as your horoscope is composed of numerous levels. There's your sun sign, your moon sign, your rising star sign. And if you want to get REALLY in depth you can include all of the known planets from Venus to Pluto to represent yourself.
This is what people don't understand.
The generic horoscope they look at is your sun sign and the facade you present to the world. What people EXPECT to see of a Leo or a Taurus or a Gemini.
Whereas reality is, is even if you want to believe what the horoscope tells you good old Leo & Taurus & Gemini are very complex as each one will have different moon & rising star signs and each Leo, Taurus & Gemini, etc. is entirely different to one another.

I don't believe in horoscope as there is no scientific evidence that horoscope matching can reliably and validly measure matchmaking.
Horoscope matching is a pseudoscience that relies on subjective interpretations and personal beliefs rather than empirical data and testable hypotheses.
There is no proof that horoscope matching can predict marital success or happiness better than other methods such as personality tests, compatibility quizzes, or counselling.
Horoscope matching also ignores other factors that affect a relationship such as communication skills, mutual respect, trust, love, etc.
Horoscope matching may be a fun and interesting way to explore astrology, but it should not be taken as a serious or definitive tool for matchmaking.

The constellations are only to map out the flat earth and to use as a map and location.
The world is flat and constellations show it.For example; in NewYork you are able to see Polaris the North Star of which don’t move on Flat Earth. But from NewYork you cannot see MY constellation Aquarius, because Aquarius is closer to the Antarctica wall, Antarctic Ring. AKA South Pole.
If I go to Peru 🇵🇪 my home country; then I WILL be able to see MY constellation Aquarius, but I won’t be able to see the star Polaris anymore.

This is how the stars work. They revolve around Polaris. Not around the sun.
I found hundreds of ancient maps like this. None of them say that the planets revolve around the sun.

Opinion Owner+1 yForgot to add; constellations and the Zodiac Signs, are also used to count the months and years. That’s what it was used for back then. It was a map and clock. And still is.. but they don’t want people to know that it is, because it exposes flat earth.
But it has nothing to do with your personality, your emotions, your ego and so on.
It was a tool to count months. Aquarius is like saying “January”. For Example.
+1 yNope. I think they're complete crap. They can generally apply to anybody in some way, and even in the event that it's supposed to but doesn't, people who want to believe it just ignore the fact that it doesn't like it's an isolated instance of being wrong.

+1 yPeople are always comparing, insinuating that something might or not , be wrong with what we have. Just enjoy the rides, this experience can be sad, or fun. Don't bring excuses of, " what if" to your life. Just live. Step out of you comfort zone. You'll be fine. Except hard-core drugs. Yeah avoid that sh! T.

+1 yI dont let it dictate my relationships while I’m in them, but when we breakup i do admit i go “ahh that mf was a (insert zodiac here), so that explains why he was like this, this, and this”. But with me being a cusp, I technically can vibe with 10/12 zodiacs anyways. Its just that some are better off as friends or hookups (two things im not interested in) than boyfriends

+1 yI think it’s ridiculous, but I don’t mind. It comes up all the time when chatting up girls. I have an example of why each pairing (relevant to me) has some ex icing sexual advantage. I don’t take it seriously, but if it can forward the conversation in the right direction, I am all for it.

+1 yWell, it's rather obvious to me that horoscopes are plainly silly, but then many people need to believe in something. There is something similar to religions, where on a higher level, after having thrown in the wastebasket the silly literal significances, a philosophy may emerge helping some people to deal with life.

+1 yWell I don't really believe that there's such a thing as two zodiac signs being perfect for each other because I'm a Capricorn and my boyfriend is a Pisces and I went to this horoscope love tester website just because I was curious what it would give us and we got a 7/10 which isn't bad but personally I think we're a 10/10 because we fit together really well like puzzle pieces 😊

+1 yThey’re detailed enough to be applicable to a wide number of people, and cryptic enough to let the individual fill in the missing details. A lot to guys consider horoscopes on dating profiles a red flag. I wouldn’t put any credence in your friends opinions on this.

+1 yDon't do it... it's fucking retarded. Every time I hear a chick talk about horoscope stuff like they're into it... I get sad for humanity. It's just so dumb... it's literally magical thinking.
30 ReplyInsecure females are into those. There's probably 12 planets or so in the security cleared version of it, but feel free to bang your already subaverage brain against that - if you liked yourself (e. g. if you never did sex for porn nor for money nor for fun) you wouldn't be doing horoscopes (for whores?)

No, I don't waste me time with them00 ReplyNope. The position of planets and stars has next to nothing to do with your fate or decision making. I believe in prophetic gifts, but forecasting human fate via the stars or clouds is forbidden in the Bible because it has no value whatsoever.
