Calling me his girlfriend without discussing it with me first- is it a good reason to be mad?

I’ve been seeing this guy for a few months. We are doing long distance, so we visit each other. We never talked about our relationship status (and I was thinking it’s still a bit too early.. also I’m not 100% sure about him).. but he started calling me his girlfriend recently (for instance, introducing me to his friends as his girlfriend)… would you get mad about about it if it happened to you?
also I feel like he is really rushing into things, and I’ve got an impression that he might not be experienced, so he skipped “the talk”…

Not only mad but disrespected as he's going behind your back but at least confessed. Explain GENTLY the you feel disrespected and al you had to do was be upfront. Walk that gently let him know you are disappointed but not too angry cause he did tell you.
