Yes.


If there is an absolute truth about the meaning of our lives, we can lean on that or seek to discover that.


But, if there is no absolute truth and no right way, we can always create meaning.


Just like you can take a fallen log, that’s just waiting to rot, and you turn that log into a chair, giving it a purpose.


Whether meaning is given, discovered, or created, I believe it’s necessary to live a fulfilling life.


Without meaning and purpose, one will eventually feel miserable, and possibly spiral into a depression.

Then that’s a caveat and an exception.

I suppose the common ground is that everybody wants fulfillment.

How they obtain that is up to them.

And I judge no one in their pursuit of fulfillment as long as it doesn’t hurt or harm other people.
